CFB Week 1 DFS Notes - by Justin Bales

Fantasy Feud has the most competitive salaries in the industry when it comes to CFB.  That also makes research that much harder.  For those of you who didn't dedicate the time you wanted here are some of my notes.

Six Quick Picks & a Few Hail Mary's: Season Preview - by jimfred82

With the opening kick-off only a little more than a week away and Fantasy Feud already having their games open, let’s look and see if we can find some potential value plays that may be useful next week.  Remember, the goal here is not to construct your lineup solely around these players; it is to use these low-salary, potentially rewarding guys in order to fit in your studs of choice.

Straight Course vs. Long Hitters: Grip it & Rip it - by Brandon Gordon

This week, the Fed Ex Cup hits the TPC in Boston for its 12th year running. It’s a par 71, 7214 yards and in it’s history, it yields very low scores. In my very thorough examination of the course (and by thorough I mean looking at course maps), I noticed something that only a blind person couldn’t see. It’s pretty straight. To me, straight courses are a long hitters delight. There’s no narrow fairways and corners to cut, no fancy ball shaping needed, it’s just hit the ball straight. For a long hitter, this is the equivalent of getting invited to a party of newly single girls on the rebound and you were the only guy invited and they all know you’re even straighter in the bedroom than you are off the tee. This means, it’s awesome.

What Happens In Paramus, Stays In Paramus - by Brandon Gordon

I woke up yesterday morning, opened the window beside my bed and listened to the sound of a happy bird chirping. ‘Why are you so happy?’ I asked the bird, but the bird didn’t respond. He totally ignored me while he sipped his morning coffee and scoured the new salaries on Fantasy Feud. I tried to ask him, whom he thought was a good value play for golf this week, and again, he totally ignored me. I think he may be WILHELM and didn’t want to give away any of his secret picks. Well, screw him then. I hate hoarders. Sharing is caring. And with that amazing segue, let me share my weekly thoughts with you.
